FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  What changes will families see with the new merged LL?

A:   Practices and games will be spread across Beacon Hill, Shadyside Park, Manor Avenue, West Bradford Township, and Embreeville complexes. Teams will be likely be a mix of former WBLL and former DLL kids.

Q:  Will fees change as a result of the merger?

A:  Registration fees will remain consistent with the registration fees charged in 2020. The two fee structures had small differences so as we become one organization, there may be minor adjustments to fees to create one structure.

Q:  What fields will the new merged little league use? Will WBLL families need to travel to Downingtown and Downingtown to WBLL?

A: Practices and games will be spread across Beacon Hill, Shadyside Park, Manor Ave, West Bradford township, and Embreeville complexes. Teams will have a mix of players from both former leagues so expect practices and games in all locations throughout the season.

Q:  How will teams and coaches be selected?

A:  Consistent with the current processes for both leagues, teams will be selected to ensure they are balanced and competitive. All volunteers will continue to play an important role in our program and are vital to its success. Please sign up!

Q:  Will other WBYA sports be merging with Downingtown?

A:   At this time, there is no plan to change the organization of any other current WBYA sports.

A:  DWLL will select an appropriate number of players to represent the new league in competition at all levels.

Q: How will our junior umpire program be impacted by this change?

A:  We intend to continue this program as it offers long time players opportunities to give back to the new league

Q: Will the registration portal change?

A: Yes we are excited to move to Team Snap as the new portal for registration, payment and team management. While you will need to set up a new profile the first time you use Team Snap, we are optimistic this change will offer families and coaches an enhanced user experience.

Q:  I still have questions, who should I reach out? A: Please email info@dwestll.org with any additional questions.
