DWLL is split up into the following divisions:

Quickball

Ages/Divisions: 5 Years – 6 Years
Team Makeup: Assigned by Commissioner
Game Times: Saturdays
Coaches: Volunteers
Registration Period: January – February
Location: Beacon Hill Fields and Manor Road Fields

Quickball teaches the game in a whole new way. Fast-paced, active and inclusive, Quickball grabs the attention of young players and lets them learn without being bored or intimidated. Minor B Division:

Generally 7 – 8 years old, players will bat against player pitchers with help from coaches (modified kid pitch).  Modified Little League game rules are followed.  There is no stealing.  Games are 6 innings with a 2-hour time limit.  Although a win or loss is generally known, official score is not kept so that the environment is non-competitive.  Minor B will generally play one Saturday game and one weeknight practice or game. The season ends with an inter-Little League tournament

Playoffs:

Minor A Division:

Generally 9 – 10 years old, players will bat against player pitchers.  Little League game rules are followed.  Games are 6 innings with a 2-hour time limit.  Minor A will generally play one Saturday game and one or two weeknight practices or games.  The season ends with an inter-Little League tournament

Playoffs:

Majors (50/70) Division:

Generally 11 – 12 years old (individual skill level determines if a 10 year old is eligible), players follow Regular Little League game rules.  Games are 6 innings with a 2-hour time limit.  Majors will generally play one Saturday game and one or two weeknight practices or games.  The season ends with an inter-Little League tournament

Playoffs:

Juniors Division:

13 – 14 years old.  Juniors division plays on 90’ base path fields.  Ball fields are at Shadyside Park and Manor Ave. Teams will travel to play other District 28 teams.  The number of games and practices vary per season.

Seniors Division:

15 – 16 years old.  Seniors division plays on 90’ base path fields.  Ball fields are at Shadyside Park and Manor Ave. Teams will travel to play other District 28 teams.  The number of games and practices vary per season.

18U Division:

Boys 18u baseball, Birthdate Range will be 01/01/03 – 08/31/2005 for the 2022 Spring Season. The season will last from mid-May to the beginning of July, then tournament play to follow. Registration is now through April 3. Once there is a full team with coaches assigned, the registration will be billed.

Little League Challengers Program

The Little League Challenger Division® was founded in 1989, and is Little League’s adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges.

Any individual with a physical or intellectual challenge may participate. If an individual can participate in the traditional Little League Baseball or Softball program with reasonable accommodations they should do so. The Little League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 4 to 18; or up to age 22 if still enrolled in school. The Senior League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 15 and above (no maximum age).
